Web Developer

The Advanced Client Solutions department is expanding and is adding to their development team, looking to hire a mid-senior web application developer for innovative greenfield enterprise development in the legal industry.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Engage in development workshops, sprint planning, and other team-based activities.
  • Commit to sprint goals and work within that scope within a collaborative environment.
  • Focus on delivering the best UI / UX experience.
  • Follow best practices to design, implement, and deliver secure and scalable technical components and services for cloud environment.
  • Comply with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations including the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Standards and Regulations, and Principles.

Skills and Experience

  • Interpret product designs and to create responsive layouts that work across multiple browsers and devices.
  • Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS, Javascript, and front-end framework architecture (like Angular) to efficiently design, create, and build modular front-end applications.
  • Extensive use of a flexible charting library (like Highcharts or D3) to visualize data driven interactive data charts.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs to enable communication between the front-end and back-end services.
  • Implementing OAuth, SSO, integration using Entra ID or similar.
  • Skills in writing unit tests using tools (like Playwright or Jasmine, NUnit) to ensure code quality. CI/CD Experience of Git for collaboration, Azure DevOps for build, test, and deployment.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and keeping up to date with industry trends and technologies.

  • Being open to learn new technologies and methodologies as the development landscape evolves, with an appreciation or involvement in other parts of the tech stack (Azure, C# .NET, SQL, NoSQL etc).
