Software Engineer (Customer Acquisition)

This is a great opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our digital sign-up team focusing on customer acquisition. We are on a mission to be the trusted foundation of every home. Location: Kings Cross, London or Lakeside, Portsmouth. Hybrid working applies. Minimum 3 days in office.

Our digital sign-up team is transforming how tradespeople sign up and get jobs from the millions of homeowners who use Checkatrade. We are committed to building a seamless online experience, which drastically reduces the time it takes to sign up, improving the experience for our members. We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with experience in React and TypeScript, with strong experience in API development using TypeScript. You’ll dive into our backend, which is heavily built in C#, so familiarity with this is essential. Sound like you? Perfect!

What do you need to succeed?

• Proficiency in React.
• Experience with API development using TypeScript.
• Familiarity with C#.
• Two-sided marketplace, big tech, or scale-up industry experience.
• Current development best practices – (Security, clean code, SOLID, async patterns).
