Position Overview: Are you a passionate React Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a talented front-end expert who is proficient in React.js and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be hands-on, leading the development of our front-end applications. The successful candidate would be expected to come to our office in Moorgate twice a week.

Company Overview Finseta is an AIM listed E-Money Institution providing FX & Payment Services to corporate and private clients globally. We are a fast-growing multi-faceted business with a suite of alternative banking products and have built and developed our own in-house technology to facilitate this.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of high-performance, scalable web applications using React.js.
• Collaborate with other engineers, product and business stakeholders to create seamless and interactive user experiences for colleagues and customers.
• Write clean, maintainable code, and perform code reviews to ensure the highest quality.
• Optimise application performance and ensure responsiveness across all platforms and devices.
• Guide other engineers, sharing your expertise and best practices in React.js.

Essential

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development, 3+ years in React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and front-end tools like Webpack and Babel.
• Solid understanding of React concepts like hooks, state management (Redux/Context API), and component lifecycles.
• Experience with TypeScript, REST APIs, and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Github) and CI/CD pipelines.
• A strong eye for detail and a passion for building high-quality, responsive web applications.

Useful

• Some experience in building mobile applications with React.
• Experience with Next.js, GraphQL, or other server-side rendering technologies.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Postgres RDS.
