Our Technology division was formed to lead on our CWT 3.0 digital transformation strategy. With a team of highly skilled and experienced individuals, they deliver and manage efficient, quality, and innovative travel technology solutions and technology services for CWT and its customers worldwide.

We are looking for a Python software engineer to join our Data Science team at CWT. This Python software engineer will be joining the team to build and enhance the functionalities of an in-house chatbot.

This role will be working closely with Machine Learning engineers and other developers across the organization, as well as the product team.

Daily Responsibilities

• Developing independently new features for chatbot backend in Python
• Ensuring good test coverage of the codebase
• Managing CI/CD and regular release
• Collaborating with product and other technical teams where feature integration is required
• Participating in Agile scrum ceremonies

Key Skillsets and Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in Python programming
• Strong skills in software engineering
• Proficient in writing Python code of good quality with test coverage
• Experience in developing using AWS Lambda
• Good knowledge of data structure and common design patterns
• Comfortable working with Linux and bash scripting

Desired Skillset

• Experience with AWS
• Familiar with Git
• Exposure to Terraform

Please note this is a hybrid position and the successful candidate will be required to work from our London office 2 days a week.
