Introduction to the role
We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our Growth and Analytics team, playing a critical role in the implementation of new projects in the ever-changing Publishing industry and the competitive UK market. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to use and develop their coding skills while learning about technology, marketing and strategy in a young, innovative and dynamic environment amongst big players such as Amazon, Google or Apple.

Core Responsibilities
- Work alongside analysts to maintain projects and develop new ones
- Monitor systems and promptly resolve any issues
- Review and improve the stability of existing and future projects
- Identify new opportunities and areas of growth based on new technology and business needs
- Produce production-level code with appropriate testing, redundancies and error handling
- Utilise the latest technologies in the AI/ML space to build cutting edge tools
Skills And Experience Required
Person Specification
- Professional python experience
- At least one web framework – Flask, FastAPI, Django, etc
- Data manipulation with Pandas / numpy
- Database design and best practices
- Proven experience taking a greenfield project through a full development lifecycle
- Organised and thoughtful approach to your projects
- Able to manage your own time effectively to meet deadlines
- Strong coding skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Confidence to take ownership of your projects
- Must be comfortable on MacOS and Linux (Ubuntu VMs)
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work through issues independently.
Salary
- Up to £50,000 dependent on experience.
