Your role
To facilitate the successful operation of the Division through appropriate liaison support areas for the provision of strategic and technical development.
What You'll Be Doing
We are seeking a skilled Product Designer to join our mission to revolutionize the consumer vehicle payments landscape. This position falls under our PayByPhone line of business located in the UK.
PayByPhone is more than just parking. We simplify the journeys for millions of people through our smart, intuitive mobile payment technology and exciting features. We work with over 1,400 clients across North America, the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Ireland. More than 95 million drivers worldwide have trusted us with their payments to date.
Our Consumer Vehicle Payments (CVP) team is driving the expansion of Corpay’s offerings from business payments into consumer payments, envisioning an all-in-one driver companion for every aspect of the journey in PayByPhone products.
Your Mission
As a Product Designer for Consumer Vehicle Payments, you will shape the user experience for millions of PayByPhone users, ensuring drivers remain at the core of our design approach while supporting the growth of our consumer offerings.
In this role, you’ll be an integral part of a small, agile team, helping to conceptualize and bring new ideas to life through quick iterations and prototypes. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to validate ideas, test assumptions, and launch new products into the market, throughout the journey.
You should be comfortable designing across all stages of the early product lifecycle from discovery through launch and initial growth. We are looking for someone who has startup experience, cares about craft, has a track record of delivering, and can navigate the challenges of building 0 to 1 products.
What You’ll Do

Consumer-Centered Design: You excel at placing the consumer at the heart of the design process, adapting to rapid changes, and utilizing data and metrics to inform and enhance your design decisions.

Craft: You design sleek, functional user experiences and interfaces that align with our product roadmap, delivering intuitive and aesthetically pleasing features.

Collaboration: You work closely with product teams and collaborate across departments such as marketing and business to identify and craft the best solutions for both users and the business.

Customer Discovery: You conduct thorough market research, customer interviews, user testing, and competitive analysis to uncover unmet needs, validate product ideas, and suggest innovative solutions.

Ownership of Design and User Journey: From wireframes and design system components to end-to-end flows and prototypes, you will take ownership of designing solutions that address problems with simplicity and elegance while paying attention to every detail.

Turning Complexity into Simplicity: You thrive on distilling complex problems into beautifully simple solutions that meet customer needs. You'll be leading user testing workshops to ensure the design aligns with real-world use cases.

Design System Expertise: Familiar with design systems, tokens, variables, and components, you will help ensure the team speaks a consistent design language and contribute to the growth and refinement of our system.

Business Acumen: Balancing user needs with business goals helps ensure the product is successful both in terms of experience and market performance.
Your Profile

Ideally, you have 3+ years of experience as a product designer, with a portfolio showcasing a wide range of human-centered design skills, particularly in B2C and mobile platforms.

You bring a proven track record of designing engaging mobile apps and consumer products, combining user interaction and visual design expertise, along with proficiency in working with design systems and design tokens.

You are skilled at thinking strategically about product direction and effectively communicating the rationale behind your design choices.

You have a strong understanding of the technical considerations that impact design decisions.

Your approach is rooted in UX principles, with a keen understanding of human behavior and user-centered design.

You possess a clean, refined visual design aesthetic.

You thrive on problem-solving and enjoy taking on new challenges.

Although this role is UK-based, our team is geographically distributed, and you're adept at collaborating efficiently across different locations.

Experience working in Mobility, Payments, and Finance industry is a plus.

Experience in designing for the full customer journey (incl. marketing channels) is a plus.
