Paysafe is currently seeking a Frontend Engineer to join its IT Development team to help us enhance our applications supporting Merchant Solutions division. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner and enjoy working independently or within a team. They must also be confident in all aspects of software delivery on large and small projects including build/test automation.

How we work:

We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s Cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

The impact you will have:

  • Design & Implementation
  • Develop engaging and efficient user interfaces using modern web technologies.
  • Implement best practices for code quality, performance, and security.
  • Maintain and refactor existing codebase as needed.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Code Quality and Reviews

  • Actively participate in code reviews, maintaining high code quality and enforcing coding standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback to other engineers to improve the overall team's work.

  • Collaboration Across Teams:

  • Effectively collaborates with product managers, project managers, designers, and other teams to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.

  • Continuous Learning

  • Continuously works on improving business domain expertise and product knowledge.
  • Staying updated with the latest advancements in software engineering, emerging technologies, and industry trends.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a relevant development experience of 2+ years.
  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS technologies.
  • Experience developing robust frontend applications using Angular or similar modern web technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and address performance bottlenecks, scalability, and security issues.
  • Good understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, clean code practices, data structures and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, microservices and microfrontend architectures.
  • Familiarity with build tools and package managers.
  • Experience with SDLC processes and Agile practices.
  • Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and spoken.
  • A passion for self-development.
