🗣️ We are on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer to join our Forge Team. Forge is a team that runs our new gaming platform in which our game studios can run their games that abstracts away all the complexities of modern systems.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in automating, optimizing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of performance and availability. You will collaborate closely with our software development teams to integrate various technologies, including Git, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Fargate, and Helm, into our CI/CD pipelines.

🌍 This role is open to all our locations.

Remote - UK / USA / LATAM

Onsite - Tallinn, Estonia / Malta / Gibraltar / Cape Town, South Africa / Isle Of Man

Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

  • Help implement, and manage CI/CD processes for custom-developed applications using Git, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Deploy, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and resilience.
  • Manage container orchestration systems using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS), optimizing deployments and scaling.
  • Use Helm charts for managing Kubernetes applications, streamlining updates and deployments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure, employing automation to preemptively address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with development and other teams.
  • Strive for the reduction of toil and the continuous improvement of the stability of our systems.

Qualifications

What we expect from you

  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Platform Engineer or SRE (Site Reliability Engineer).
  • Hands on experience with AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and Helm.
  • Must have working experience with Production Systems.
  • Must also be experienced with working with Infrastructure as Code - Terraform / Cloud formation / Plumi / DSL.
  • Good solid foundation knowledge with networking in AWS, including VPCs, transit gateways, Route 53, and load balancers.
  • Experience working with monitoring and alerting stacks.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
