Description
You will join one of our dynamic full-stack pods based in our Camden office! You will work alongside product managers, designers, and other internal stakeholders; planning, building and maintaining a part of Stint's product that is the responsibility of your pod. Your journey may start focused on a single codebase, but over time you will be expected to contribute to all areas of Stint's tech-stack.

Our primary development stack is based on Python with Django, Go, GraphQL, and Flutter. Backend services are deployed on Kubernetes using EKS, while frontend apps are delivered as both mobile and web applications. We use DataDog for monitoring and alerting, and GitLab for automated testing and deployment.

We are looking for an engineer with experience in our backend tech, who values best practices but also understands the importance of pragmatism in our high energy and fast-paced environment. You will be expected to balance technical excellence with the agility needed to drive our growth.

What You Will Be Doing
* Collaborating closely with product, design and stakeholders to solve problems faced by Stinters, Partners and Staff. * Contributing to feature development across our frontend and backend stack. * Maintain and monitor our existing product to ensure our customers continue to receive the experience they signed up for. * Setting and enforcing standards and best practices for development to ensure code quality and maintainability. * Mentoring and coaching more junior members of the team.

This position might suit you, if you:
* Have 3-5 years production experience with a programming language, preferably Python or Go. * Are willing to up-skill in all areas of Stint's tech stack. * Excel as a clear and effective communicator. * Are eager to engage in technical and product discussions. * Possess a solid grasp of event-driven architecture. * Have experience collaborating within distributed teams. * Can clearly articulate your definition of quality software.
